I don’t pretend to have any of the answers. The truth is, I have no clue what I am doing and no clue where to start. What I do know, however, is that I need a change. A big one. A life altering one. And that it needs to happen now. Sometimes life throws you curveballs and that’s where I find myself as I begin this journey and try to accomplish some milestones before I turn 30. Eva (Lina) and I turned our attention to writing this blog because, although our lives are very, very different, we found ourselves thrown together by unforeseen circumstances and ended up at the same place at the same time, both being wounded by the same thing. Dealing with the emotional aftermath, I turned to her for comfort and found that we have more in common than we would have thought. We are both 29, both on a mission to improve the quality of our lives and both striving to find ourselves. Between the two of us, we have had so many life experiences and learning opportunities. And so, here we are. To share our journeys and stories with you with hope that should you find yourself lost, our own paths to getting to know ourselves can inspire you to do so, too. We may crash and burn a few times, we may hit obstacles, but we will share it all without censorship. I don’t think this will be easy. I don’t think this will be comfortable. What I do know is that I’m willing to be uncomfortable now if that means I can have a better future. So I’m jumping in, without hesitation and with a friend who understands all too well, by my side. So without further ado, here are 30 things I want to accomplish before I turn 30 at the end of the year:
